Resort To The Best . . .
For a more indulgent vacation that includes America's most fabled resort, the renowned Greenbrier in West Virgina, we offer a luxury add-on that begins at the opulent William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh on September 22, with easy air or train connections to Pittsburgh from any US city. We then have a scenic drive south to the Greenbrier where deluxe rooms await, grand dining (breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner are included daily) as well as all of the amenities of this storied resort. Then, after two nights at the Greenbrier, our own classic private train, the Greenbrier Limited on the stunning day trip through the New River Gorge from special station at the Greenbrier to Baltimore.

Our private train features club car accommodations and all meals, wines & spirits while aboard! This special 4-day/3-night package has very limited availability at $995.pp double occupancy or $1875. single occupancy and prompt reservations are encouraged.

FEATURES

  • Fully escorted by professional tour manager, our own Barbara Abegglen, from start to finish.

  • Overnight deluxe hotel stay in Baltimore the evening of September 25th with plenty of time to enjoy this historic city the following day before we sail. A special sailing day bon voyage luncheon at Baltimore's splendid redone Inner Harbor at renowned Phillips Seafood, famed for its crab dishes, is a highlight before we board the mini-liner American Eagle.

  • Seven-night Chesapeake Bay Cruisee round-trip from Baltimore aboard the 'American Eagle' featuring huge roomy cabins (all with large picture window orprivate veranda), excellent dining with meals cooked to order and featuring regional specialties, complimentary cocktails, all in a casual and informal setting. Better still, our mini-liner takes you to magical and out of the way places a big ship could not dream of going, all with a friendly and attentive All-American crew. While more costly than big mega-ships, the ease of only 100 guests, the large cabins, the oversized bathrooms, open single-seating dining, remarkably fine cuisine, the onboard historians and naturalists, to name a few, make it worth every penny.

  • Ports of call including Williamsburg, Yorktown, Crisfield, Tangier Island, all in Virginia, Solomans Island, Cambridge,Oxford, St. Michaels, and Annapolis all in Maryland. There is no finer way to see this historic and picturesque area, at the ideal time of the year, than with us.

  • Low cost airline or train add-on fares home from Baltimore after the cruise starting at only $99. per person.
