Charleston, Savannah and the Carolina’s by Train and
Coastal Steamer Via the Intracoastal Waterway.
A Passage Through America and Time.

From Baltimore to Charleston, this unique cruise offers you a chance to discover the fabled Intra coastal Waterway. Between these vibrant cities and the barrier islands you'll find living history unfolding before you. Trace the route along the Chesapeake Bay that John Smith explored in the summer of 1608, delight in Carolina's Low country with its antebellum charm and colonial heritage. Along the way small ports welcome your small ship with warm Southern hospitality. In Norfolk you'll find the galleries, museums and military history of a revitalized seaport as well as the attractive shops and sandy beaches of a relaxed resort. And, in Myrtle Beach with its fun-loving populace and carefree ambiance.

Our ship, the American Glory is a miniature ocean liner, tailor-made for experiencing the Intra coastal, compact enough to bring you up close to towns that are hidden treasures. Throughout the trip guest speakers will recount local lore and thrilling stories of pirates and patriots. Best of all, relaxation and good fellowship is assured as you settle into the leisurely pace of life along the Mid Atlantic. It's a journey that will refresh and restore you, a perfect passage into history. Better still, after an overnight stay in Charleston we disembark the ship and head south to what is often described as the most charming city in America, lovely Savannah, Georgia with its stately homes with wrought iron railings and formal courtyards, laid out along a grid of 21 squares. As always, we have included fine accommodations for a two-night stay in the heart of Old Town as well as grand dining and an exquisite ‘Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil’ city sightseeing tour that captures the magic, mystery and other-worldliness of this captivating city.

With a fine ship, known for its casual and informal comfort (no dressing up for dinner required!), superb crew, delicious means and ability to dock in small towns combined with sightseeing, a leisure pace and personalized attention, there is only one thing missing, you. We invite you to join us but do not delay, with only twenty-five cabins, this voyage will sell out.

All Aboard!
